Bamboo Sunset

I had reached the point where I wanted to quit,
Pain was a hundred times more than a little bit.

Fern and bamboo seed were planted on the same day,
However, only one had fully blossomed right away

Don’t be jealous of the fern because you are bamboo,
This only means God has a different plan for you

After tropical storms it’s the bamboo tree that survives,
The Lord wants to put the same strength in our lives.

We have to stop complaining and we certainly cannot quit,
This is why whiners will never grow more than a little bit

The reason so many runners end up finishing in last place?
They’ve already made up their mind they can’t win the race.

Because you haven’t broken the surface doesn’t mean it’s lost. Whatever growing pains you’re currently going through,
Remember, God created and no human being built you

And, even if you are subject to scientifically being a clone,
The original model is by the King who sits on the Throne.

Understand the enemy desperately wants to turn you around,
He does not want your seed to spring forth from the ground

Satan will do everything in his evil power that he possibly can,
To stunt your growth and keep you from fulfilling God’s plan.

The number is small, only two, when adding God plus me,
Yet, it’s greater than any two armies of any two countries,
When the winds are blowing to seemingly overwhelm thee,
I don’t ever break but I will bend, just like the bamboo tree.
